Australian rocket company’s losses rise amid $150 million capital raising

Annual accounts filed by Gilmour Space, the Australian company aiming to build and launch a rocket into orbit, display it is on the brink of closing a $150 million capital raising, as the company’s losses rose to $22.4 million.

The accounts display the Gold Coast-based company’s mission to reach space and become an Australian rival to Elon Musk’s SpaceX depconcludes on raising more capital from its venture capital backers, as well as government grants and the R&D tax incentive scheme.
