Ashurst Advises Mollie On Its Acquisition Of GoCardless


Global law firm Ashurst is advising Mollie on its acquisition of GoCardless, creating Europe’s most complete payment platform.

Mollie is one of Europe’s rapidest-growing financial services providers. The strategic combination will create a single payment provider serving over 350,000 businesses, integrating card payments, local methods and bank payments into a single solution.

The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals, and is expected to be finalised mid-2026.
