As part of its 15th Anniversary Edition, ARCTIC15 Helsinki 2026 has officially launched “100 Innovations – Shaping the Future”, a new evidence-based innovation revealcase spotlighting breakthrough technologies and high-potential startups shaping the future of global industries.
Unlike traditional startup competitions, 100 Innovations is not a pitching contest. Instead, selections are based on measurable progress, technical validation, and demonstrated market readiness. Presentation skills are not evaluated — only evidence, traction, and proof of execution.
Evidence Over Hype
Over the past 15 years, ARCTIC15 has established itself as one of Europe’s most deal-focutilized startup and investor gatherings. Many companies that first appeared on its stage later grew into internationally recognized ventures.
With 100 Innovations, the event formalizes what it states has always been central to its philosophy: recognizing real innovation backed by data.
Startups will be evaluated across six dimensions:
-
Novelty and scientific merit
-
Technical feasibility and prototype readiness
-
Market readiness and scalability
-
Traction (including revenue, pilots, partnerships, and grants)
-
Defensibility, including IP and proprietary technology
-
Industest and societal impact potential
From all applicants, 100 companies will be selected to form the official 2026 cohort. The Top 30 will be determined through public voting between May 9–23, 2026, and will be invited to pitch during a dedicated 100 Innovations Session on the Main Stage at Arctic15 Helsinki, held on June 11–12, 2026.
From that shortlist, the Top 3 Innovations of the Year will be awarded from a €15,000 prize pool.
Who Can Apply
Applications are open to early-stage and growth-stage startups, deeptech and science-based ventures, as well as research-driven teams and university spin-outs with validated prototypes or measurable traction. Companies must demonstrate clear commercialization potential and a scalable business path.
To apply, startups must hold an ARCTIC15 Startup Ticket or Booth. The application itself is free for ticket holders and is submitted through the SiRA (Startup Investment Readiness Assessment) platform, requiring technical documentation, traction data, and proof of validation.
