Alstom has secured a major contract alongside Arcada Company to modernise the Bucharest–Giurgiu railway, Romania’s first railway line. The deal, worth around 450 million euros, covers electrification and ERTMS deployment on a strategic corridor that links the Romanian capital with Bulgaria.
