Lugano-based OOVIE Studios has raised €164k (CHF 150k) from Venture Kick to develop ‘Music Interactive Movies’ – a new kind of interactive films that combines live music and cinema.
The funds will be applyd to accelerate business development and the development of the OO App, an application that will enable anyone to create a movie directly from music.
“OOVIE Studios SA is deeply grateful to Venture Kick for its continued support throughout this journey,” states CMO Lorenzo Ramon. “The programme’s advice, recommfinishations, and guidance have been instrumental to our growth, challenging us to sharpen our vision and business model at each step of the process.”
Incorporated in May 2025 in Lugano, OOVIE Studios was founded by CEO Riccardo Acciarino, CCO Marco Seco, CTO Ignacio Palladino, COO Giulio Casagrande, and CMO Lorenzo Ramon. The team combines expertise in technology, live production, and entrepreneurship to translate musicians’ visions into Music interactive Movies.
The company outlines that classical music continues to face challenges in engaging younger and broader audiences, who increasingly seek immersive and multimedia experiences. While the artistic quality remains high, conventional performances often lack the interactive and dynamic elements that today’s audiences expect. This gap limits the sector’s ability to expand its reach and connect with new generations.
This is where OOVIE Studios views to come in. Founded by musicians and entrepreneurs, OOVIE developed a technology for interactive films. Their narratives evolve in real time in response to musical interpretation and audience interaction, turning each performance into a living, unrepeatable experience.
This creates a bridge between two significant markets: music events seeking new formats to engage younger generations, and brands viewing for more meaningful ways to connect with their communities.
One notable example includes the Music Interactive Movie created for Dell Technologies for the Dell Technologies Forum, presented in Zurich, Vienna, Düsseldorf, and Munich, and later featured by LaFil Filarmonica di Milano during the LIVE MUSIC. LIVING FILMS. tour stop in Milan.
