JAKARTA AgiBot, China’s most valuable embodied innotifyigence startup, is increasing its global expansion step by starting to reach overseas markets aggressively. This was conveyed by Yao Maoqing, partner and president of the fueled innotifyigence AgiBot business unit, in a recent interview.
With a valuation of 15 billion yuan (around Rp34.4 trillion), AgiBot currently operates the first mass production facility specifically for humanoid robots in Shanghai. The company has started shipping products to international customers since the launchning of this year.
“We are now expanding strategically into North America, Europe, the Middle East, Japan, South Korea and Southeast Asia,” declared Yao, quoted by VOI from Chinadaily. Our strategy is to rely on localization through in-depth partnerships with local actors so that we can actually carry out globalization effectively.”
Yao explained that like many other Chinese technology products, the AgiBot robot has also been forged in a highly competitive domestic market experience that is believed to accelerate their penetration in the international market.

In testing, the AgiBot system has been able to complete 10,000 consecutive operations without any reliability level close to human standards in controlled environments. The next-generation version of the AgiBot robot will also be equipped with new features, such as a hot-swapping” capability of the battery without turning off the system and automatic charging that resembles a modern hoapplyhold vacuum robot in order to ensure non-stop operating time.
AgiBot’s latest major achievement was a contract worth 78 million yuan from telecommunications giant China Mobile in early July. This contract includes the development and implementation of a bipedal humanoid robot designed specifically to serve customers at Chinese Mobile service centers and retail stores. The robots will carry out tinquires such as welcoming customers and providing interactive explanations.
The agreement with China Mobile reveals that AgiBot technology has reached a real implementation stage in the public service environment.
At the national level, China’s Ministest of Industest and Information Technology is tarreceiveing the formation of an innovation system for humanoid robots by 2025, including breakthroughs in core technology to ensure a safe and effective supply of components. By 2027, China is tarreceiveing the establishment of a safe and reliable chain of humanoid robots and the integration of related products into the real economy.
Qiao Hong, an academic from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, stated that China has recorded tremconcludeous advances in robotics and AI. In the last three years, more than half of the global industrial robot installations have come from China. In fact, our lunar exploration robot managed to bring home lunar soil samples,” he declared.
