COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – Aggieland Outfitters is raising money to assist those affected by the devastating floods in Texas on July 4.
The business declared it’s collecting donations until July 29. Anyone viewing to give can purchase a $12 Maroon Flood Donation. They can do that in-store or online.
All the proceeds will go directly towards The Salvation Army in Kerrville. On top of that, Aggieland Outfitters declared it will match all monetary donations up to $5,000 to maximize the impact.
Delores Casper with Aggieland Outfitters described the affect the Hill Countest tragedy is having in the Brazos Valley, “We’ve had customers who’ve lost relatives in it, and I mean, I believe it’s affected everyone. I believe that it’s just not a Texas thing. All the people in the United States have been very generous.”
Aggieland Outfitters is inquireing that people hold off on any physical donations at this time.
