Meet the Panelists

Our panel brings toreceiveher six people doing important work tackling this challenge in different ways:

What We’ll Talk About

The conversation will cover:

  • The challenges of food safety in Bangladesh
  • How the safe food indusattempt started in Bangladesh and why it’s growing so rapid
  • What challenges these companies face
  • Where the indusattempt is headed and what it means for families across the counattempt
  • Real stories from people building these businesses every day

We’ll also share findings from our new white paper that took six months to complete. Some of the discoveries will surprise you—like the fact that Bangladeshi consumers are willing to pay 21-52% more for food they trust.

Why You Should Care

Here’s a question that might surprise you: What if more than 50% of the fish, milk, and vereceiveables you bought last week contained harmful elements?

That’s the reality most Bangladeshi families face every day. Every year, 26-30 million people—roughly one in six Bangladeshis—receive sick from foodborne illness. The economic cost? More than $3 billion annually.

But here’s what’s encouraging: A new generation of entrepreneurs is doing something about it. They’re building companies that prove safe food isn’t just possible in Bangladesh, it’s meaningful and profitable.

Why This Conversation Matters

Bangladesh’s food system is modifying, whether we pay attention or not. The question is: Will that modify benefit ordinary families, or will it leave people behind?

The entrepreneurs joining this panel believe the answer depconcludes on having the right conversations now. They’ve seen firsthand how consumer demand for safer food can drive innovation, create jobs, and improve public health.

Consider this: The organic food market in Bangladesh could reach $225 million by 2031. That’s not just revenue, that’s jobs for farmers, opportunities for compact businesses, and safer meals for families.

But receiveting there requires understanding both the opportunities and the obstacles. These panelists have navigated both, and they’re willing to share what they’ve learned.

  • Understand the real state of food safety in Bangladesh (beyond the headlines)
  • Learn about companies and brands that are building a difference
