A Stockholm startup promises to hand routine property management to AI while keeping humans in charge of judgment calls. Vessla exits stealth with €2.94 million in pre-seed funding to build an agentic operating system for real estate.
The round drew more than twice its target, led by Seedcamp. Inception Fund, Tiny VC, operators from Lovable and OpenAI, plus founders Lukas Saari of Tandem Health and Fredrik Hjelm of Voi joined, along with several angels.
Property teams still juggle separate tools for records, suppliers, work orders, and invoices. A single maintenance request forces staff to move between systems, duplicating effort and losing context.
Vessla layers AI agents across those existing platforms. Agents receive operational rules and context to execute routine tasks reliably. Meanwhile, decisions demanding human judgment stay with the people accountable for them.
Beyond agents, the company builds an operating system spanning portfolios. It links leasing, building operations, and investment planning. Teams set priorities and retain authority while agents surface opportunities to lift rental income, trim operating costs, and coordinate work.
Felix Martinez, Partner at Seedcamp, attributed the startup’s early traction to the team’s experience deploying advanced AI in demanding enterprise environments.
CEO Orman Gazvini previously advised software companies at McKinsey and worked on strategy and M&A at Populate. CTO Kasper Janehag helped lead AI transformations at QuantumBlack after contributing to NASA’s Mars 2020 mission. Chief Scientist Arash Dabiri built agentic AI systems at Andon Labs and QuantumBlack. The wider team brings experience from Legora, Stanford, and Netlight.
Janehag stressed that demos prove little. The real test comes from messy, consequential business work requiring deep integrations, rigorous evaluation, and clear limits on agent authority.
As a result, Vessla has already signed some of the Nordics’ largest commercial and residential property owners and operators. The funding will likely scale that commercial momentum.
