AXISCADES Technologies has swallowed up a Swiss holding company, planting its flag in Europe even as its stock slid 2.70% on Thursday and the company navigates a bruising financial transition.
The Bengaluru-based defence and technology firm confirmed to both the BSE and NSE on October 14, 2026 that it now owns every share of Ulosia Holding AG, based in Baar, Switzerland. Ulosia operates as a wholly owned subsidiary effective that same date.
Company Secretary Sonal Dudani signed the regulatory filing under SEBI’s Listing Regulation 30, referencing an earlier disclosure from June 12, 2026. Yet the notice remains remarkably thin. No purchase price. No funding details. No description of what Ulosia actually does.
Shares closed at Rs 2,030.80, down from an intraday high of Rs 2,095. Market capitalization sits at Rs 8,643.23 crore. Meanwhile, the Nifty 50 climbed 1.07% and the Sensex gained 1.19%, leaving AXISCADES trailing the broader rally.
The acquisition arrives at a delicate moment. In the June 2026 quarter, the company posted a consolidated net loss of Rs 14.76 crore, dragged down by roughly Rs 21.8 crore in deal-related costs and one-time provisions. That compares to a profit of Rs 20.86 crore a year earlier.
A bigger transaction looms. AXISCADES expects to close the US$237 million sale of its engineering services units to Akkodis by November 2026, a deal management says will generate a gain of about Rs 1,255 crore. Those proceeds, the company has stated, will fund acquisitions without diluting shareholders.
The Swiss subsidiary gives AXISCADES a European foothold as it pivots away from services toward defence products, electronics manufacturing, and aerospace. Defence already contributes 68.2% of continuing revenue, with a reported Rs 4,557 crore defence order book extending through FY30.
Investors now wait for the next quarterly results to see how much cash Ulosia absorbed and whether the European bet pays off.
