The actor arrived in a black Christian Siriano tuxedo. A cropped jacket, bow tie, and cummerbund gave the look a traditional foundation. Yet the silhouette collapsed below the waist.
The silky pants billowed dramatically around his legs, throwing the entire outfit off balance. What should have read as fashion-forward instead looked disproportionate. Slimmer-cut trousers would have anchored the tailoring and let the sharp jacket do the work.
Urie attended the ceremony as a nominee for outstanding supporting actor in a comedy series for his performance in “Shrinking.”
