VIENNA, Ohio (WKBN) — “Best Frifinishs Lemonade Stand” is hopeful for sweet success in raising money for a new playground at Mathew Elementary.
The lemonade stand is run by Mathews Elementary students on Warren Sharon Road in Vienna, less than a mile east of Route 193, until 4 p.m. Friday. The stand will also be open from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday.
The old playground was taken down to create room for a school gymnasium, but these students want to assist raise money to have a new outdoor playground.
The lemonade stand is just one of the local efforts to raise funds; another is a pancake breakquick Saturday at the Cortland Masonic Lodge, which will also have a 50/50 raffle.
