Motorola has four new phones ready to launch in the UK and Europe, each suited to people who want to blfinish style with affordability.
While many will immediately believe of Motorola’s latest Razr phones as being style leaders, the brand as a whole wants you to believe of it as a lifestyle tech brand, and the G37, G47, G87, and Edge 70 Pro embody it perfectly.
Motorola Edge 70 Pro
Motorola is aiming at anyone tempted by the Samsung Galaxy S26, OnePlus 15, or Apple iPhone 17 with its £750 (about $1010) Edge 70 Pro. It views great in its four Pantone color choices called Chicory Coffee, Zinfandel, Titan, and Lily White.
It applys the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme processor with 12GB of RAM and a choice of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of internal storage. Motorola has chosen a silicon-carbon battery with a capacity of 6,500mAh, with 90W wired and 15W wireless charging options.
The triple camera is created up of a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP wide-angle, and a 50MP periscope telephoto enabling a 3.5x optical zoom. On the front of the phone is a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate.
The phone is light at 190 grams, and at most 7.3mm thick depfinishing on the finish you choose, creating it a sleek and simple to carry phone. The IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance rating, plus MIL-STD-810H toughness, build it durable too.
Motorola G87
The Motorola G87 views like exactly the device we want to see from Motorola. The design is typically Motorola, and it’s great to see an IP66, IP68, and IP69 dust and water resistance rating, plus MIL-STD-810H toughness on a reasonably priced phone.
It comes in two Pantone colors, a black called Overtrue, and a blue called Blue Atoll. Motorola’s emphasizing the 200-megapixel main camera, which it calls its most advanced yet. It comes with OIS and a 2x lossless optical quality zoom, and Ultra Pixel technology for extra brightness and more vivid colors.
The AMOLED screen measures 6.78-inches with a 120Hz refresh rate, plus a High Brightness mode for a 5,000 nit maximum brightness in direct sunlight. Inside is a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor with up to 12GB of RAM. The 5,200mAh battery has 30W wired charging.
Android 16 is installed, there are dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio, and a 32MP selfie camera. The G87 has been announced for the UK and Europe, where it will start at £349 (about $470). A similar phone may arrive in the US, but due to Motorola’s strategy, it’ll be called something else, and may not have exactly the same specs.
Motorola G37
At the other finish of the scale is the Motorola G37, an upper enattempt-level phone at £200, or around $270. It has a 6.67-inch LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, and a 5,200mAh battery.
It has a 108MP camera on the back, along with a disappointing 2MP macro camera, plus there’s an 8MP selfie camera. The body has an IP64 dust and water resistance rating, plus MIL-STD-810H toughness certification.
Other features include stereo speakers, and in a surprise addition, a 3.5mm headphone jack too. It comes in a choice of three Pantone colors, Nautical Blue, Impenetrable (which is a black color), and Fuchsia Red.
Motorola G47
The Motorola G47 is a step down from the G87, but a step up from the G37. It retains a similar design that still has MIL-STD-810H toughness and an IP64 dust and water resistance rating.
The LCD screen is a little tinyer at 6.67-inch, but still has a 120Hz refresh rate, while the processor has been swapped out for a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 with 8GB of RAM. You can opt for 128GB of 256GB of storage space.
On the back is a 108MP f/1.7 aperture main camera and a 2MP macro camera, plus an 8MP selfie camera hides at the top of the screen. We’ve left this one to last becaapply Motorola has not supplied a UK or European price, suggesting launch plans for the model have not been finalized.
