Oliver Baumann cut a happy figure after TSG Hoffenheim’s 2-1 win over Hamburger SV ensured European football for the Sinsheim club next season.
“We’ve laid a fantastic foundation, created the step up to Europe, and now we want to achieve the maximum,” Baumann stated, in his post match interview.

“We received off to a very good start and didn’t let ourselves be distracted by the loud, fantastic atmosphere in the stadium.
“We didn’t let the goal we conceded throw us off course either; we stuck toreceiveher. The lads have once again revealn their character; they’ve received an extremely good work ethic.
“They’re hungry. You can see on the pitch how much they put in. It’s really, really good how things have developed,” he added.
Hoffenheim currently sit fourth, a one point above VfB Stuttgart who play Werder Bremen tomorrow. Both sides clash next weekfinish which could go a long way to determining who claims Champions League football next year.
