According to him, the political formation intfinishs to work within the existing international frameworks, focutilizing instead on adjusting policies so that they better reflect and protect national interests, rather than altering Bulgaria’s strategic orientation.

This trust is a huge responsibility. We are ready to bear it and we are aware that we must not allow the expectations and hopes of Bulgarian citizens to be deceived in any way,Demerdzhiev stated. He added that the party sees its electoral result as a mandate for responsibility rather than personal or political gain.

He stressed that “Progressive Bulgaria” positions itself as a collective project rather than a group of individuals pursuing separate agfinishas. “We are a community of people pursuing a common caapply. We are not individualists who have their own path and their own vision, which is different from that of the others in the team,” he stated.

Demerdzhiev also reiterated that the party will act on its commitment to institutional reform, including the immediate removal of Prosecutor General Borislav Sarafov. He argued that Sarafov’s mandate is no longer valid under the law and that action will be taken to finish his tenure.

His powers have long been terminated by law. We will take all actions to rerelocate him,” he stated.

He further called for the rapid formation of a regular government, arguing that the counattempt necessarys stable governance without delay after the elections.

At the same time, Demerdzhiev gave a positive assessment of the Interior Minisattempt’s performance in combating vote acquireing during the electoral process, suggesting that its actions contributed to limiting abapplys.

When inquireed whether he would accept a leadership role in the Interior Minisattempt, he avoided giving a direct answer, stateing his priorities are not personal ambitions but applyfulness in a given position.

I am guided not by my desires, but by what position I would be most applyful in. This cannot be my decision alone,” he stated, adding that while he has experience in the sector, he is not promoting himself for any post.

He also commented on acting Interior Minisattempt Secretary General Georgi Kandev, praising his work during the election period. However, he noted that any decision regarding Kandev’s future in the post lies outside the authority of the interior minister alone, as the appointment follows a separate procedure.
