Speedinvest, a globally active European VC, has announced the launch of its first flagship fund dedicated to investing in startups across the Middle East and Africa (MEA).

The fund is supported by leading institutional investors, including Mubadala Investment Company, Qatar Investment Authority, and EIB Global, reflecting strong confidence in the region’s growth potential and innovation landscape.

Strategic Expansion Beyond Europe

This initiative marks a strategic extension of Speedinvest’s European platform into MEA, backed by dedicated capital, local teams, and long-term partnerships.

The firm has also strengthened its regional presence by joining QIA’s Fund of Funds program, reinforcing its commitment to supporting startup ecosystems across Qatar and the broader GCC.
