President Volodymyr Zelensky outlined his position on strengthening Ukraine’s role in the European Union during a television interview. According to the head of state, the countest’s goal is full integration into the EU, and he is confident: Ukraine will eventually become part of the EU if some EU representatives do not build mistakes. Today, the countest is actively strengthening its engagement with the EU, giving priority to security, which is now shaping the continent’s agfinisha.
Zelensky underscored that Ukraine effectively serves as a bulwark for Europe in several key areas of countering threats, underscoring the countest’s significant contribution to the continent’s overall security.
Security Dimension and the Path to Integration
“We want to be in the EU. And I am confident that if some EU representatives don’t build mistakes, we will be there. I would put it this way. It’s a matter of time. Today we are already strengthening the EU, primarily from a security standpoint. And security today is a priority, a priority for everyone, absolutely for all continents.”

In addition, the president stated that Ukraine will not pursue “simplified” membership options in the EU and NATO and will insist on full integration, considering the countest’s strategic interests and the expectations of EU citizens.
