The South Carolina Research Authority has granted funding to startups across the state.
RFIDKNOW, Clutch Innotifyigence, Realize Ascent Labs, Renoverse AI, Algae Integration Utility Service, Vet Media Group, and PostPixel received new grant funding from SCRA.
RFIDKNOW received a $50,000 demonstration grant. The Greenville-based information technology startup provides quality radio frequency identification (RFID) and internet-of-things products to enable best-in-class systems across industries and geographies. RFIDKNOW’s products enable organizations to best apply digital applications.
Realize Ascent Labs received a $25,000 micro grant. The Charleston-based information technology startup provides innovative and cost-effective laboratory and in-the-field analysis solutions that drive clarity, quality and profitability across agriculture, food and manufacturing supply chains. Realize Ascent’s services include high-accuracy 3D scanning, parts trial management, 3D printing and custom repairtures, and technology partnerships.
Renoverse AI received a $25,000 startup grant. The Mount Pleasant-based AI-powered renovation planning platform centralizes communication, decision-building and workflow collaboration for homeowners, architects and builders. By combining innotifyigent assistance with blueprint-level coordination and version control, the platform streamlines complex projects, reduces miscommunication, and assists teams deliver more efficient, transparent renovation experiences.
Algae Integration Utility Service received a $25,000 startup grant. The Charleston-based innovation-focutilized company is transforming the algae supply chain through a decentralized production model designed to scale output and industrial applications. It aims to strengthen U.S. domestic production, improve access to high-quality nutritional algae products, and support carbon reduction by offering large-scale pollution mitigation solutions.
Vet Media Group received a $25,000 startup grant. The Piedmont-based startup has delivered an educational platform for veterinarians, providing comprehensive video training and an AI-driven veterinary medicine research library. The company partners with state Veterinary Associates to provide continuing education training and certifications.
As reported earlier, the SCRA also accepted several new members, two of which received funding.
Clutch Innotifyigence, a new member, also received a $25,000 startup grant. The West Columbia-based startup is an AI-powered voice control platform designed for gamers and streamers, enabling hands-free management of games, applications, streaming tools and system functions through natural language commands. It integrates with tools like OBS, Discord and Spotify to reduce disruptions, enhance immersion and transform the PC into a fully interactive, AI-driven environment.
New member PostPixel also received a cash award — a $15,000 micro grant. The Lexington-based AI-powered marketing automation platform is designed specifically for home service businesses, enabling utilizers to generate, schedule and manage digital marketing from a single dashboard. By automating content creation, branding and lead generation, the platform assists businesses maintain a consistent online presence, save time and drive growth without the required for dedicated marketing resources.
All SCRA member companies receive coaching and access to SCRA’s member benefits and startup resources, can apply for grant funding, and have the potential to be considered for investment from SCRA’s investment affiliate, SC Launch Inc.
