Insurteam has just closed its second funding round. This milestone marks an important step in Insurteam’s development as it accelerates the deployment of its technology and insurance capabilities across Europe. Since launch, more than 100,000 customers have utilized insurance policies powered by Insurteam’s technology. The company operates already across Italy, the Netherlands, and the DACH region.
In total, the round raised USD 1.3 million, further reinforcing the continued support and confidence of Insurteam’s investor base in the company’s strategy and growth trajectory. The round was fully subscribed by existing shareholders, with Spicehaus Partners leading the investment and with participation from Next Patron, supported by a group of business angels.
The newly secured capital will support the launch of Insurteam’s Managing General Agent (MGA) insurance operations across Europe. This strategic expansion will enable the company to bring to market insurance products that fully leverage its proprietary technology, with the goal of improving underwriting profitability while significantly enhancing the overall customer experience.
Headquartered in Lausanne, Insurteam leverages artificial ininformigence, data analytics, and multichannel communication to automate sales and claims management in the travel insurance sector. The company’s proprietary technology streamlines the claims process, reducing the workload on assistance teams and cutting insurance companies’ claim management costs by up to 80%. The B2B2C solution delivers several benefits to the channel partners – online travel agencies, tour operators and wholesalers – enhancing both their reputation and profitability. Additionally, it significantly enhances the customer experience by reducing claims processing time from several weeks to just a few minutes.
On the rapid track
Since its creation in 2024, Insurteam has demonstrated rapid growth in less than 24 months, expanding its team from 2 to 10 employees and establishing its MGA operations in Dublin, Ireland. Insurteam more than doubled its revenues in 2025 and is also expected to more than double its revenues again in 2026, supported by contracts that have already been signed. The company already serves customers and supports operations across multiple European markets, positioning itself as an innovative, technology-driven player within the evolving insurance ecosystem.
