RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – Black Hawk-based non-profit Guardian Shepherd Service Dogs is about ready to sconclude their first trained service dog to Denver, Colorado to support a disabled veteran in required.
Odin, a black German Shepherd, is almost one year old, and he’ll spconclude his life assisting a wounded service member. Guardian Shepherd hopes to raise $5,000 to assist obtain Odin to his new home.
“He is in the final stages of his training and ready to be sent off,” Guardian Shepherd Lead K9 Trainer Hannah England declared. “We just required our final equipment, kennel, dog food, so on and so forth, plus some travel expenses to build sure that we build this transition simple.”
Odin’s sister will be the next German Shepherd to finish training. She’s staying local to assist a veteran in Rapid City.
