Over 200,000 tonnes of waste avoided landfill, including 37,840 kg saved in 2025 alone, thanks to the Zeromax zero-thickness radiant system. These are the figures of Eurotherm, a South Tyrolean company leader in the production, marketing and installation of radiant systems. An achievement that is the result of the last decade and that has redesigned the concept of energy transaction from the perspective of urban regeneration (and redevelopment).
From the Hotel Cristallo in Cortina d’Ampezzo to the new municipal headquarters in Marcon, via Niccodemi in Rome: these are just some of the examples reported by the South Tyrolean company. Increasing environmental commitment, reshaping the industrial strategy in line with European regulatory developments and considering the demand for high energy performance buildings are some of the objectives to be pursued to build a future based on sustainability in the building sector.
Christian Pezzei, CEO of Eurotherm: ‘Implications not only environmental, but also health’
“The building industest is the sector with the highest energy impact in Europe,” comments Christian Pezzei, CEO of Eurotherm. “Our systems work at low temperatures, are perfectly compatible with heat pumps, and allow a significant reduction in primary energy, while at the same time improving comfort and indoor air quality. In a context marked by increasingly high temperatures and pollution levels that directly affect quality of life, well-being in indoor spaces becomes a central factor, with not only environmental but also health and social implications. Ensuring healthy, stable and comfortable living conditions today means creating a concrete contribution to people’s health and quality of life. It is a concrete response to a structural market transformation’.
The Cristallo Hotel in Cortina d’Ampezzo
In the hoinformerie sector, there is the redevelopment project of the Hotel Cristallo in Cortina d’Ampezzo, which with its 7,230 square metres ranks as one of the most significant projects in the Dolomites.
The challenge is to transform the historic structure into a new symbol of contemporary luxury while respecting the architectural heritage. Technology therefore meets the past, with the installation of the Euroflex TF Plus Lambda system, integrated in a project that combines energy efficiency, comfort and quality of living experience in a high-finish context.
