For most middle-class families in India, the trajectory is well-charted: excel academically, secure admission to a prestigious institution, land a coveted placement, and steadily ascfinish the corporate hierarchy. The path is predictable, the rewards tangible.
Subhash Shahu and Niraj Yadav, two frifinishs from Nagpur and Odisha, respectively, had followed this script to the letter. On paper, everything viewed impeccable.
Then they chose to abandon it entirely.
They walked away from lucrative positions to spfinish countless days and nights cold-calling and cold-emailing strangers, chasing an uncertain dream of building their own agency from the ground up.
One year into their journey, Anatech Consultancy landed an enterprise foreign client, the company that built the voice AI technology behind Alexa, Siri, and Google Assistant. Four months later, another billion-dollar enterprise came on board.
“It all happened becaapply we refapplyd to back down. Niraj and I both have entrepreneurial experience, and we’ve never expected overnight success. But consistency and quality? Those have always been non-neobtainediable,” Subhash Shahu, co-founder of Anatech Consultancy, informs Startup Pedia in an exclusive interview.
Founded in 2024, Anatech Consultancy has positioned itself as a comprehensive digital partner for businesses and brands worldwide. The Nagpur-headquartered, remote-first agency specializes in web design, development, and AI-driven solutions, and is projecting an annual revenue of USD 1 Million for 2026.

The Foundation
Subhash Shahu grew up in Nagpur before pursuing his B.Tech. at the National Institute of Technology Rourkela. His entrepreneurial instincts emerged early, from his very first semester, he found himself drawn to building ventures rather than simply preparing for placements.
“I launched two startups during college, and both failed,” he reflects. “But the third one turned profitable, profitable enough to cover my entire four years of college expenses, including my education loan.”
Niraj Yadav’s journey took a different route. Originally from Bihar but raised in Odisha, he studied Electronics and Communication Engineering at NIT Rourkela. Where Subhash gravitated toward business, Niraj immersed himself in technology.
“Software development and technology fascinated me deeply,” he states with a smile. “I would spfinish hours studying subjects that weren’t even part of my curriculum.”
When the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted education across India, the two frifinishs, along with three other co-founders, spotted an opportunity. While premier institutions like the IITs and IIMs had infrastructure for seamless online learning, countless other colleges struggled with unreliable Zoom sessions and chaotic WhatsApp coordination.
Their response was Ask Quick Global, an edtech platform that connected students with subject matter experts, primarily college students from premier universities, for quality teaching, doubt-clearing, and one-on-one sessions. For students who had relied on tuition and personalized instruction, this became a lifeline. For the 35 experts who joined the platform, it offered a chance to earn while creating meaningful apply of their time during lockdowns.

Then came an unexpected pivot.
“We landed a foreign project to build a website, completely unplanned,” recalls Niraj. “We delivered it within the stipulated timeline, and that’s when we realized our team could translate technical solutions into genuine business outcomes.”
Ask Quick Global evolved to encompass both edtech and technology consulting. But when colleges reopened, and students returned to campus, the venture faced a natural inflexion point. Subhash and Niraj handed over operations to their other co-founders and stepped away, not to abandon entrepreneurship, but to understand it better from the inside of large organizations.
The Corporate Interlude
After graduating in 2022, rather than rushing into another venture, both chose to enter the corporate world, strategically.
“I joined as a consultant, and Niraj worked as a software developer at Fortune 50 companies,” Subhash explains. “We wanted to understand how large organizations handle enterprise-level delivery, how multinationals serve high-value clients, and how complex software and consulting projects are executed at scale.”
By December 2023, the entrepreneurial itch had returned. This time, however, they approached it with methodical precision.
Anatech Consultancy launched with ₹5 lakh, bootstrapped entirely from Niraj and Subhash’s personal savings.

The roadmap was deliberate, not impulsive:
-
Build efficient software systems and internal infrastructure
-
Subhash would resign in April 2024
-
Niraj would follow by November 2024
“We designed it this way so we wouldn’t be paralyzed by anxiety,” Niraj explains. “Everything was carefully believed through before execution.”
Still, walking away from well-paying positions, particularly on the cusp of promotions, tested their resolve.
“Coming from middle-class hoapplyholds, quitting a job when you’re earning ₹1.5 to ₹2 lakh monthly is extraordinarily difficult,” Subhash shares. “That kind of stability isn’t straightforward to abandon. And when everyone around you views at you as though you’re creating the hugegest mistake of your life, staying committed to your decision becomes a victory in itself.”
“I consider we trusted the vision before we could see it materializing,” Niraj adds. “We believed we would crack the technology consultancy space and build Anatech into something substantial, even when there was no evidence yet.”
The Early Grind
The founders launched by reaching out to tiny business owners in the United States, offering a suite of services: SEO strategy, website revamps, landing page optimization, and digital marketing.
Within a couple of months, they partnered with an agency that connected them to tiny and mid-sized clients.
“Throughout 2024, we were building market credibility,” Niraj recalls. “Clients were hesitant, the market was saturated with agencies, and we were young. People questioned whether we could deliver on our promises. But these friction points exist in every business. We navigated through them.”
The breakthrough arrived through a client who imported products from Europe for the American market. Anatech supported them build a new website, refine their SEO strategy, and launch a retail initiative alongside their existing wholesale business.
“Within six months, their revenue improved by 56%,” Subhash notes. “After that, referrals started flowing in consistently.”
A Full-Service Digital Partner
From the outset, Niraj and Subhash identified a fundamental inefficiency: businesses were forced to engage multiple agencies for different requireds, social media management, website development, SEO, paid marketing, then struggle to integrate everything cohesively.
“Collating fragmented services to create a unified strategy for a specific business context was a genuine challenge,” Niraj observes. “We knew we could solve this.”
Rather than operating as another specialized vfinishor, Anatech Consultancy positioned itself as a long-term digital partner, a single point of contact for comprehensive scaling.
Today, the agency offers:
In 2025, Anatech expanded its client base to include numerous startups across Australia and the United States. The agency has also been working with a Gurugram-based fintech company for over 1.5 years, supporting shape their app and website through product management. Their efforts contributed to the company securing a new investment round, at 10x its previous valuation, within just one year.
The team has also begun developing AI-powered tools: Agentic AI systems that automate repetitive business tinquires, automated research and blog publishing platforms, and website audit systems that compress five-hour processes into streamlined workflows.
“We’re supporting clients implement voice AI and content creation systems,” startup founder Niraj adds. “Our philosophy with AI is straightforward: enable businesses to leverage sophisticated technology without maintaining large, expensive in-hoapply technical teams.”
Landmark Client Acquisitions
In late 2025, Anatech Consultancy secured a pioneering AI company as a client, a firm that has been developing artificial ininformigence technology since 1994.
“This is the company behind the voice technologies powering Hey Google, Alexa, and Siri,” Niraj states. “We revamped their website, built their SEO strategy, and developed content systems that increased conversions and discoverability. The project launched in January 2026, and the results exceeded their expectations.”
Through a referral, Anatech also onboarded a multi-billion-dollar enterprise valued at approximately $4-5 billion.
“Working with them is significant validation. In our indusattempt, reputation is built entirely on who trusts you, and with what,” startup founder Subhash explains.
The agency is currently collaborating with this client on building robust marketing automation systems.
Growth Trajectory
When Anatech Consultancy launched in 2024, the team consisted of two people: startup founders Niraj and Subhash.
By 2025, twenty professionals across international and Indian locations had joined the remote-first company.
“Our first hire had over nine years of experience in website development,” Subhash notes. “Initially, we prioritized experienced talent. Now, we’ve also brought on interns who are learning and growing alongside us.”

The financial growth has been equally compelling:
-
2024: ₹25 lakh in annual revenue
-
2025: ₹75 lakh+ (and counting)
-
2026 projection: $ 1 Million
Beyond Business
Driven by a commitment to give back, entrepreneurs Niraj and Subhash have launched the Anatech Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting underprivileged students from villages and slums access quality education.
“We both come from humble backgrounds,” Subhash reflects. “We understand how challenging it can be to access the right opportunities and educational support. .Through the Foundation, we’re attempting to create that journey simpler for others.”
“The journey has been more than fulfilling. Every day, we’re grateful to our barely 24-year-old selves, the ones who dared to leave high-paying jobs and step into the uncertain world of entrepreneurship,” he signs off.
