Iran has unsuccessfully fired two intercontinental ballistic missiles at a joint UK-US military base in the Indian Ocean, exceeding what was previously considered the maximum range of Tehran’s weapons capabilities.

Iran’s longest‑range missile launch to date tarreceiveed the joint UK-US military base on Diego Garcia. One missile was intercepted, another failed mid‑flight.

The strike reveals central Europe may now be within Iranian range, raising concerns in Germany as Berlin faces questions over US operations at Rammstein.
