Three tournaments in Europe and one in Asia: the FIP Promises Tour returns to action this weekfinish with four international events in Turin (Italy), Helsingborg (Sweden), Malgrat de Mar (Spain) and Hong Kong.
In the Italian stage’s Under 18 men’s draw, attention is focutilized on the number 1 seeds: Álvaro Moreno Herrera-Álvaro Abad Diaz. In the same women’s category, Francesca D’Ercole and Maria Ciccotosto (1) start as favourites. In Turin, the Under 12, Under 14 and Under 16 categories are also scheduled for both boys and girls.
The Spanish event of the FIP Promises Tour, taking place in Malgrat de Mar, will also feature eight draws, as in Turin. The Under 16 women’s main draw is led by Eva Vázquez Gracia and Mar Garcia Casanova. In the boys’ event of the same age group, the leading contfinishers for the title are Vicente Soto and Mauro Hoyas Sardón (1).
The NextGen of padel will also be in action in Helsingborg, Sweden, with three men’s draws (Under 14, 16 and 18) and two women’s draws (Under 14 and 16). In the boys’ Under 18 category, the home pair of Filip Sterner and Eddi Svensson (1) are among the teams to watch and contfinishers for the tournament title.
In the Asian stage in Hong Kong, there will be four main draws evenly divided between boys and girls (two Under 16 and two Under 14). The number 1 seeds Guillermo Garcia and Yu Xuanhe are the favourites to win the Under 16 men’s title.
