How Did Talos4tec Emerge?

Talos was established in response to the expansion requireds of CareBanking, with a dual objective: to support its growth and operations in the UK, and to serve as a foundation for expansion into Europe.

What Does Talos4tec Do?

We primarily focus on SaaS within the HealthTech sector. Our portfolio includes software solutions specialising in healthcare and social care management. Our main products are MyCareBank, an finish-to-finish solution for healthcare and social care management, and VireoCare, recently launched to manage social health residences.

Talos4tec’s Main Projects

We are currently working on two main projects. The first is the consolidation of our solutions in the UK and European markets. The second project, focapplyd in Spain, is in the deployment phase within the Community of Madrid, aiming at primary care and continuity of care. We are defining complete primary care screenings within our solution, and are in collaboration with the relevant authorities to integrate HCE.

Year the Startup Was Founded

Founded in 2024 by the original founders, Rob Meaker and Liam Hayes. During our first operational year, 2025, we focapplyd on building specialised teams for support, development, and customer success, which are now fully operational in Spain, Europe, and the UK.

Who Comprises Talos4tec?

The Talos team consists of two lead architects, a general manager, a manager, two account managers, and a team of engineers complemented by AI. This year, the company has reached a total of 30 full-time employees, of whom 9 are continuously involved in Talos. The current dynamism of the sector and the emergence of AI in certain areas have significantly enhanced our capabilities, allowing us to scale teams to provide global support 24/7 to our clients.

Who Are Talos4tec’s Main Clients?

Currently, our main clients are public administrations and large private operators. Our largest client by volume is the British NHS. In Spain, we are collaborating with two regional governments, primarily the Community of Madrid through SERMAS, where we are working on HCE integration as well as deployment for primary care, screenings, and continuity of care. While we cannot disclose further details due to confidentiality until projects are publicly announced, we are also providing healthcare management solutions for large private operators, though on a tinyer scale compared to public administration demands. We are studying integration with several of the major national operators and are currently deploying specific continuity of care projects in mainland Spain.

Next Steps: Talos4Tec’s Expansion

Our expansion strategy is primarily based on developing alliances with cross-border groups, particularly across Europe. We plan to expand into Latin America in the coming years, while we have yet to explore further expansion in the EMEA region. However, our projections for the next 18 months are exceptionally promising, and we have already formed and implemented teams to provide 24/7 global coverage.

Situated in the Tenerife Scientific and Technological Park: What Benefits Does This Bring?

From the launchning, we have been based in the PCTT, and we have only observed advantages. The park operates for the tech ecosystem and performs its role expertly. Knowing we have an agent to turn to when requireded is a relief, as timing is critical; we require the necessary support to prevent disruption in our daily operations and meet demanding objectives. Additionally, as an external factor, the Park nurtures an innovative ecosystem where we mutually support each other, which is evident becaapply as the environment thrives, this positive dynamic becomes a natural trfinish.

To Continue Growing: What Support Do You Need from Administrations, and What Would You Ask For?

In our case, there is a required to raise awareness around the importance of energising many entrenched cultures; progress is driven by innovation. At times, we encounter barriers that stem more from traditional culture than from the actual requireds of the sector. While we currently feel the involvement of various areas responsible for digital transformation, it could be beneficial for us to have a more prominent role in some instances. We possess the talent, and the best way to promote it is by giving it visibility—now more than ever.
