In an X post on Thursday, Maye Musk reflected on raising her children with Christian values, stating that her three children were christened in the Methodist Church and attconcludeed Episcopalian Sunday school. She highlighted that she herself attconcludeed a Protestant Sunday school and was married by a Christian minister, emphasizing that regardless of the specific denomination, the core lesson remained to “love everyone.”

Maye quoted a reply by Elon Musk on the discussion of Christian faith, stating, “I agree with the teachings of Jesus.” In 2022, he elaborated that he finds “profound wisdom” in principles such as love, kindness, and forgiveness.
The Tesla co-founder’s reply was in response to an X applyr who suggested someone should “evangelize” him. Musk has previously described himself as a “cultural Christian,” noting that although he is not traditionally religious, he believes the principles of Christianity are “very good.”

Maye often publicly leans into her “proud mom” role, most recently when her son Elon topped Forbes’ 2026 list of America’s greatest living innovators, ahead of Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates and Jensen Huang. Forbes credits him with building or scaling five multibillion-dollar companies, namely Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink, xAI and The Boring Company, across radically different industries, while noting that he remains the world’s richest person with an estimated net worth of around $684 billion.

Early Signs Of Genius And Sibling Brilliance
The 77-year-old has earlier revealed that she recognized Elon’s unusual innotifyect at age 3 but doubted whether he would “do great things,” pointing out that “many geniapplys conclude up in a basement” without applying their talent. She cites early signs of drive and execution, from his Zip2 startup and PayPal to a video game he coded at 12 and sold to a magazine, and she now openly describes him as “the genius of the world” rather than focapplying on his billionaire status.
In a separate account, she’s referred to Elon’s siblings Kimbal and Tosca as “brilliant” but insisted Elon sits on “another level of smart” that even she “can’t explain.”
