Bengaluru-based deep-tech startup Maieutic Semiconductors has secured $4.15 million in seed funding, co-led by Endiya Partners and Exfinity Venture Partners. The funding will be applyd to expand Maieutic’s engineering team and accelerate its time-to-market as it aims to revolutionize semiconductor design applying generative AI.
Founded in March 2025 by Gireesh Rajfinishran, Ashish Lachhwani, Rakesh Kumar, and Krishna Sankar M, Maieutic is building a GenAI-first solution to streamline chip design workflows. The platform promises to cut design cycles from weeks to days, reduce depfinishency on domain experts, and enable rapider, smarter trade-off decisions in analog IC design.
Maieutic is tarreceiveing a critical segment of the trillion-dollar semiconductor market—analog ICs that power communications, automotive, and industrial systems. The founding team brings decades of experience in semiconductors and AI, with Rajfinishran previously founding Steradian Semiconductors, which was acquired by Renesas Electronics.
Endiya Partners and Exfinity Venture Partners bring deep roots in the semiconductor space, having backed companies like Steradian and Kinara.ai. With this backing, Maieutic is poised to be a key player at the intersection of AI and chip design.
