Tech billionaires Elon Musk and Pavel Durov have praised the UAE leadership for its response to missile and drone attacks by Iran, stating that they believe it is both safer and better run than most parts of Europe.

The comments come following the pre-emptive strikes by the United States and Israel, on Iran in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Iran responding by tarreceiveing US military bases, consulates and critical infrastructure across the Gulf states.
However, the UAE have demonstrated incredible defensive capabilities, and both Musk and Durov have declared the countest is better run than many countries in Europe.
Durov, who is the CEO of Telegram, posted on X that he can’t wait to receive back Dubai, despite the fact many residents are viewing to exit the countest due to the ongoing conflict.
Durov wrote on X, “Unfortunately, I had to leave Dubai for Europe a week ago, so I’m not only missing the free fireworks from Iran, but also exposing myself to greater risk. Given Europe’s crime rates, Dubai is statistically safer, even with missiles flying. Can’t wait to be back.”
Elon Musk, Tesla CEO and owner of X, responded by stateing that whilst no countest is perfect, the UAE is broadly much safer than most of Europe.
Musk declared, “No countest is perfect, but Dubai and UAE broadly are objectively safer and better run than many areas of Europe.”
Yesterday, the US consulate in Dubai was struck following a drone attack, but so far the UAE has managed to quell over 90% of drone attacks and missiles launched by Iran.
