The community came toobtainher to enjoy the sunny weather and walk for a good cautilize at the annual Coldest Night of the Year (COTY) fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 28.

Hundreds of Kelowna residents gathered at the Metro Community to walk downtown while raising money for those experiencing homelessness as well as local hoapplying initiatives.

This year, the goal was to raise $150,000. And the Central Okanagan community came through, as $164,337 was raised.

In total, 455 people signed up for the event, which started with a speech from Mayor Tom Dyas and a dance party before the walk itself.
