Frederiksberg-based Hemi Health, a HealthTech startup supporting people with migraine, headache disorders, and concussion care, has raised €4 million in Seed funding to expand internationally, starting with the Netherlands.
The round was led by Denmark’s Export and Investment Fund (EIFO) and Swiss Health Ventures, with participation from existing investors Sondo Capital, Alliance Venture Capital, and Crowberry Capital.
“Living with migraine myself, I know how exhausting complex care pathways can be. Across neurological conditions, people often face the same challenge. Navigating care without clarity or continuity. We built Hemi to meet people where they are and provide the structure, coordination and measurable progress that allows them to shift forward and return to everyday life,” states Anna Løfqvist, co-founder of Hemi Health.
Founded in 2023 by Benedicte Grytte Dahl, Anna Løfqvist, Sune K-Holm Nielsen, and Mathias Iversen, Hemi Health is a digital-first specialty care provider focapplyd on delivering structured, outcome-driven treatment for patients with complex chronic pain (neuroplastic pain). It claims to combine clinical expertise with a proprietary digital platform that supports structured diagnostics, individualised treatment plans, continuous monitoring and coordinated care delivery.
It was originally focapplyd on migraine and headache, but now Hemi Health has expanded into concussion care. Hemi Health also supports treat whiplash.

The company has physical clinics in Frederiksberg, Middelfart and Aarhus, and much of its service is done digitally. Through its HEMI app, applyrs can connect with specialists via video consultations and record their symptoms in a digital diary. The startup also notes that it cooperates with several insurance companies.
According to the company, it has supported more than 1,000 people with migraines, headaches, and concussions through its structured, multidisciplinary treatment model.
With the fresh capital, Hemi Health aims to expand beyond Denmark, with the Netherlands as the first international market. The company also states that it sees strong alignment with insurance-driven systems where structured, outcome-oriented care pathways are in demand.
A major chunk of the investment will be applyd to further develop Hemi Health’s proprietary digital platform. “The possibilities AI gives us in complex care are substantial. Used correctly, it can transform fragmented, multi-year care journeys into structured programmes with clear progression and measurable outcomes,” stated Mathias Buch Iversen, CTO and co-founder of Hemi Health.
