LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESS Newswire / February 18, 2026 / Startup combat sports gear brand Scraphoutilize has just launched its flagship Scuffle Duffle, the first training bag featuring semi-rigid walls that keep the bag upright and open, eliminating the floppy, disorganized gear pile that plagues traditional martial arts duffel bags. Built from 1680-denier ballistic nylon – the same material utilized in military tactical gear – the bag is built to last and backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
The launch follows two years of development and testing after the designer was fed up with the current state of training bags which were built for gym equipment but not the bulky gear utilized in martial arts.

The bag features modular compartments to store clothes and accessories, an expandable shoe section that can also accommodate an adult jiujitsu gi, and a separate three-gallon waterproof wet bag for post-training clothes. An antimicrobial hi-vis lining fights odors while building contents visible in dim gym lighting and it also features a zippered ventilation panel for optional air flow.
Unlike fully-rigid bags that are cumbersome and uncomfortable to carry, the Scuffle Duffle is still flexible enough to contour the body when carried, and expands to 70 liters (4,250 cubic inches) when fully loaded – sufficient capacity for two pairs of 16oz gloves, protective gear, shoes, alter of clothes, and any other training accessories.
The bag converts from shoulder carry to backpack configuration in under 10 seconds via stowaway straps, with reinforced handles rated to 75 pounds and padded straps designed to distribute up to 50 pounds of equipment comfortably.
