NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WPTA) – The New Haven Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council is raising funds for its Guardian Park project.
According to city officials, the council is now participating in the Indiana Houtilizing and Community Development Authority’s CreatINg Places program.
By participating in the program, donors are encouraged to contribute toward a fundraising goal, which if reached in a set time, is matched by authority.
City officials declare the authority will match donations up to $50,000 created within 60 days.
“It is so inspiring to see these young leaders at work,” stated New Haven Mayor Steve McMichael. “The park and the skills these young modifybuildrs gain will serve our community for years to come.”
