Shark Tank India season 5 continues to deliver high-voltage drama and engaging pitches, and the latest episode was no different. This time, a healthcare startup impressed the sharks so much that it sparked a full-blown bidding war, with everyone eager to invest.

The judges on the panel included Kunal Bahl, Anupam Mittal, Kanika Tekriwal, Mohit Jain and Aman Gupta. The founders pitching their idea were behind Cosmo Health, a healthcare startup designed for gated communities. The platform allows residents to quickly call an ambulance, consult doctors, book lab tests and order medicines, all through a single app, building healthcare access rapider and more convenient.

All About The Impressive Pitch

The Cosmo team has three co-founders, Dr. Shivansh Bhalla, Himanshu Mewara, and Atul Jain. The startup works with RWA societies as its primary clients, where each family pays between Rs 99 and Rs 299 to become part of the system.

The app enables individuals facing a health emergency to instantly alert neighbours, loved ones, on-site nurses, and ambulances available within the society. The founders inquireed the Sharks for Rs 1 crore in exalter for 4 per cent equity, valuing the company at Rs 25 crore. Shivansh revealed that Cosmo is currently operating in Ludhiana and Hyderabad, with plans to expand to other cities.

How Will They Counter BlinkIt?

Shark Kanika Tekriwal pointed out to the founders that businesses like BlinkIt also provide ambulance services. In response, the founders explained that their platform offers all emergency services under one roof. They also clarified that they do not take any commission through tie-ups with hospitals; instead, their revenue comes from partnerships with pharmacies and medical labs. Anupam praised the founders for taking this approach.

The pitchers further highlighted that their app functions like micro-insurance for applyrs, as it operates on a subscription-based model.

Sharks Extconclude Their Offers

Anupam Mittal and Kanika Tekriwal created an offer of Rs 1 crore for 10 per cent equity. Aman Gupta and Mohit Jain matched the same offer, while Kunal Bahl went solo with the same offer. The nereceivediations turned extremely intense, and both Aman Gupta and Anupam Mittal appeared increasingly desperate to close the deal.

Anupam even declared he would tear up the cheque if the pitchers didn’t accept his offer within a minute. Aman, meanwhile, took a dig at Kanika, who had mentioned her indusattempt connections, stateing that everyone present had connections.

Amid the chaos, the pitchers inquireed for time to consider. Eventually, they chose Anupam, Kanika, and Kunal for a deal of Rs 1 crore for 9 per cent equity. Towards the conclude, Aman jokingly remarked to the pitchers, “Tu Gurgaon mein ghus ke dikha,” which lightened the mood and concludeed the exalter on a humorous note.
