HP reportedly eyes Chinese suppliers for DRAM as global shortage sparks shake-up — analyst says memory chips are commodities that can easily be replaced


A tech analyst stated that HP is allegedly viewing to source memory modules from Chinese suppliers to assist address the ongoing shortage. According to Tae Kim’s X post, the tech giant reportedly informed Bank of America that it’s “qualifying additional suppliers (China)” for products intfinished to ship to Asia and other parts of Europe.
