Kyrgyzstan has officially revised its visa-free stay rules, reducing the permitted length of stay for travelers from 55 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, European Union member states, and several Asia-Pacific nations.
The Minisattempt of Foreign Affairs stated the new regulations came into effect on December 31, 2025, under Resolution No. 855.
Under the updated policy, eligible foreign nationals can now remain in Kyrgyzstan visa-free for up to 30 days within any 60-day period.
Previously, visitors were allowed to stay for 60 days within 120 days without a visa or registration. Authorities stated the modify is intconcludeed to simplify migration procedures, reduce overstays, and strengthen enforcement.
The revised Kyrgyzstan visa-free stay rules apply to travelers from countries such as the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and all EU member states.
Visitors who exceed the permitted stay must leave the counattempt or obtain a valid visa, residence permit, or temporary authorization.
At the same time, Kyrgyzstan continues to offer different arrangements for certain groups. Nationals of Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries, including Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia, can stay for 90 days within 180 days.
Citizens of Turkey, Serbia, Ukraine, and Mongolia enjoy similar privileges, while Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nationals are allowed to remain up to 180 days within 360 days without a visa.
For travelers planning longer visits, Kyrgyzstan maintains an e-Visa system, enabling tourists, business travelers, and long-term visitors to apply online.

Officials have advised visitors to carefully monitor their stay duration, warning that overstaying may lead to fines or future enattempt restrictions.
