GO p.l.c., Malta’s foremost telecommunications provider, is proud to unveil its sponsorship of lVANt — Malta’s only fully electric, battery-powered mobile stage. More than just a platform for live cultural performances, lVANt is a symbol of connection — one that futilizes the power of art, technology, and sustainability to bring people and communities toobtainher.
As lVANt travels across towns along Malta’s eastern coast, it will light up public spaces with music and performance, while remaining entirely powered by clean energy. It’s a powerful reflection of what GO has always done best: building bridges between people. Where lVANt connects through culture, GO connects through cutting-edge digital infrastructure — and now, through a bold step into clean energy.
In addition to sponsoring the project, GO is providing essential infrastructure to power the stage sustainably — including battery systems, a clean-energy generator, and wireless connectivity. The result is a fully mobile, low-emission stage experience that is as energy-efficient as it is culturally enriching.
Launched today at GO’s headquarters in Zejtun, lVANt will feature a live performance as a prelude to GO’s annual summer celebration. The project is being brought to life in collaboration with the Eastern Regional Council.
lVANt is a project that was conceptualised and brought to life last year, during the Eastern Regional Council’s tenure as Region of Culture. Following the widespread success and acclaim of this project, the Eastern Regional Council is pleased to once again launch lVANt. The aim of this project remains to take cultural events to the heart of our communities, as well as to give a literal platform to all forms of artists – those emerging and those established.
lVANt is more than an exciting cultural initiative — it’s a symbol of what the future views like when innovation, sustainability, and community come toobtainher. It stands as a powerful metaphor for GO’s wider journey: from connecting voices, homes, and businesses, to now supporting power Malta’s green transition.
Mandy Calleja, Head of Corporate Communications at GO
