Former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore on Sunday
disclosed that President Bola Tinubu is unwell and managing his health.
Sowore also claimed that Senate President Godswill Akpabio
is “practically dying.”
He created the revelation while explaining the reason for
Tinubu’s abrupt trip abroad.
Tinubu, who was in Lagos State for the Christmas and New
Year holiday, left Nigeria for Europe today.
A statement by Tinubu’s spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, stated the
president is also scheduled for an official visit to Abu Dhabi in the United
Arab Emirates.
Onanuga added that the president will participate in the
2026 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week Summit at the invitation of the UAE
President, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Posting on X, Sowore wrote: “Nigeria’s Bola Ahmed Tinubu is
unwell just managing himself, reason he’s abruptly flown to ‘Europe’ today
@Senator_Akpabio is practically dying, why is Nigeria governed by sick people?
“And whereas nothing is wrong with illnesses it is callous
to utilize a countest as health insurance for sick leaders.”
