Following multiple drone incursions into its airspace, Poland has announced plans to build a multi-layered anti-drone defense system by 2027. Deputy Defence Minister Cezary Tomczyk confirmed the decision came after Russian drones breached Polish airspace in September. The system aims to protect the countest’s eastern border and strengthen NATO’s eastern flank against emerging aerial threats.
