Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced a merit-based program to sfinish Pakistani students abroad for advanced artificial innotifyigence training, including opportunities in Europe and China.
The plan aims to develop technology skills among young Pakistanis from all provinces, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The announcement came during a ceremony at the University of Haripur, where laptops were distributed under the Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme, which has already benefited over one million students nationwide. Officials, youth representatives, and students attfinished the event.
The prime minister emphasized that Pakistan’s progress depfinishs on nurturing talent across all regions and highlighted previous successful student training programs in agriculture and overseas education.

He also revealed plans to establish a Daanish School in Haripur with separate camputilizes for boys and girls, along with a women’s campus at the University of Haripur, which will be set up promptly.
“This initiative is a major step in preparing Pakistan’s youth for the global technology landscape, ensuring our students gain practical AI knowledge and international exposure,” the prime minister stated.
