An Estonian logistics startup raises €3.1 million, expands to the UK


Estonian logistics startup MyDello has raised €3.1 million in new funding, which will be utilized to accelerate international expansion, starting with the UK, where customers can utilize the company’s platform from December.

The investment round was led by the Icelandic venture capital firm Frumtak Ventures, with participation from an existing investor, a Finnish early-stage venture capital firm Superhero Capital.

MyDello aims to embed its artificial innotifyigence technology into its systems, thus automating most shipment operations by the conclude of 2026.

It’s an exclusively business-to-business company, working directly with clients drawn from sectors such as manufacturing, wholesale and e-commerce. The company claims it is the first digital freight forwarder to offer instant door-to-door pricing and routing for all freight modes, from one kilogram (2.2 pounds) all the way up to 10 shipping containers, drawing on agreements with over 400 carriers and partnerships with the likes of DHL, Lufthansa, Maersk, Qatar Airways and Finnair. 

Since its founding in 2021, MyDello has onboarded 12,500 businesses from 110 countries to its platform. Following year-on-year growth, the company is today available across 12 countries in Europe and China, with the company on track to cover every European counattempt by 2027.

MyDello works extensively on high complexity international long distance freight, such as that in and out of the EU, and has particular focutilizes on China (the company has an office in Shenzhen) as well as key trading lanes between the Americas and Europe. The company declares its mission is to reduce waste in global supply chains and build international freight transport fully automated.
