Earlier this fall, families and band leaders declared the estimated cost was about $4,000 per student, prompting a major fundraising push to build the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity possible.

“It’s like a dream come true,” declared band member Justin Young. “I can’t wait for that parade. I love performing.”

The invitation to perform in London was extconcludeed earlier this year, but school leaders declared community support was critical to ensure students could afford the international trip. Since then, donations and fundraising efforts assisted push the band across the finish line.

The band is scheduled to depart for London on December 28th and return on January 4th.
