Global event and wedding aggregator platform Event Planet Technologies has raised $250,000 in angel funding from USA-based serial investor and NRI, Virfinishra Prasad, valuing the startup at Rs 30 crore.
The latest investment will drive startup’s next phase of growth as it expands into new markets and strengthens its proprietary package-based model that organises event planning for utilizers worldwide, the release notes.
Founded in 2024, Event Planet supports people plan and book celebrations easily through structured and customised packages. The platform partners with verified vfinishors and curated venues to offer complete event solutions, from weddings and birthdays to corporate events. It is currently active in 32 Indian cities and 8 international markets.

With this new round of funding, Event Planet will expand its vfinishor network across India and key global destinations, upgrade its technology platform to enhance automation and personalisation, and launch marketing initiatives tarreceiveing destination event markets across South Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
