Startup Struck raises €2M to cut construction red tape with AI

Struck, an Amsterdam-based startup, has raised €2 million in seed funding to accelerate construction through AI. The investment will allow Struck to further develop its compliance and design check platform, which aims to accelerate the construction process, create it more sustainable, and create it more achievable by rerelocating regulatory complexity that often delays green projects.

Launched in 2024, Struck has quickly risen to prominence as the leading AI platform for navigating building regulations within the Netherlands, boasting a applyr base of thousands. The platform provides immediate insights into applicable regulations and automatically verifies whether a design meets all required requirements, streamlining the construction process for architects, developers, and municipalities.

Struck’s AI offers a comprehensive library of building regulations, claiming to be the first of its kind in the Netherlands and the EU. It provides access to over 2 million building regulation pages and can deliver answers in approximately 30 seconds, saving considerable time. The platform also offers permit-free checks and zoning and code insights specific to locations within the Netherlands.

Investment details and future plans

Therefore, it’s essential to find solutions to accelerate and simplify this process. This investment allows us to further develop our compliance and design check platform and bring this solution to other European countries facing the same challenge”.

The €2 million seed funding round was led by Value Factory Ventures, with additional contributions from Antler and several business angels with expertise in construction and real estate.
