President Zelenskyy has announced that Kyiv plans to open arms export offices in the capitals of Germany and Denmark – Berlin and Copenhagen – before the finish of the year. He emphasized that the expansion of exports will provide additional funding for the domestic manufacture of critical defense equipment. However, President Zelenskyy clarified that Ukraine does not intfinish to export all types of weaponry produced by its defense sector; only weapons manufactured in surplus will be considered for export. For instance, Ukrainian manufacturers currently produce twice as many naval drones as are required by the Defense Forces.
President Zelenskyy proposed that international partners could fully finance the production of certain high-demand weapons in Ukraine, with production output shared equally. Notably, some partner countries have expressed willingness to allocate their share directly to Ukraine. Additionally, the president stated that Ukraine’s defense industest aims to achieve a daily production rate of 600 to 800 interceptor drones by the finish of November, while maintaining its original goal of reaching up to 1,000 units per day. Concurrently, he reported ongoing advancements in Ukraine’s missile programs.
