A high-ranking Swiss trade official has praised Türkiye’s determined reform agfinisha and growing economic stability during bilateral economic discussions in Istanbul. Francois Gabella, Vice Chair of Switzerland Global Enterprise, described Türkiye’s commitment to economic transformation as “absolutely impressive” following his participation in the 19th Türkiye-Switzerland Economic Forum organized with the Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Swiss Embassy.

Infrastructure and Energy Collaboration

With global transitions toward renewable energy creating new challenges in grid management and storage, Gabella suggested Swiss-Turkish cooperation could address complex engineering requirements in solar and wind energy implementation. He also pointed to Switzerland’s international experience in dam construction and highway development as complementary to Türkiye’s proven capabilities in executing large-scale infrastructure projects across multiple regions, including Africa and Central Asia.
