lemlist, a leading sales engagement platform, has acquired fellow-Parisian AI platform Claap, aimed at transforming sales with AI technology – Claaps’s investors, Headline and LocalGlobe, are exiting through the acquisition after funding and scaling the company to this milestone.
Claap, with an estimated valuation of between €12 million and €25 million, transforms sales conversations into actionable insights and context-aware AI agents. With the self-funded acquisition, scale-up lemlist, will now provide sales teams with AI-generated actionable insights based on recorded conversations with prospects, building the sales process “smarter” and more personalised.

The acquisition of Claap by lemlist comes amid a period of sustained investor activity in Europe’s AI-driven sales and conversational-automation landscape.
So far this year, several startups in adjacent sectors raised funding rounds that play into this momentum – including DRUID AI (Romania, €26 million, Series C) to expand its enterprise conversational-AI platform; OBT Live (UK, €2.6 million, Series A) to scale real-time customer-engagement technology; Merx (UK, €1.1 million, pre-Seed) for conversational commerce; Interhuman AI (Denmark, €2 million, pre-Seed) to develop social-innotifyigence layers for AI; and MailMoo (Finland, €300k, pre-Seed) to advance personalised video sales tools.
