Rutland’s flagship accelerator program is entering its second year with the announcement of the Fall 2025 gBETA Rutland cohort. Global venture fund gener8tor and StartUp Rutland unveiled the five startups selected for the free seven-week program: Spire, Aden Legal Education, TeleRay, Burlington Bio, and Tuktu.
The gBETA accelerator is designed to assist early-stage companies rapidly scale and pursue investment. Participants receive intensive coaching and gain access to gener8tor’s national network of mentors, corporate partners, and investors. The five chosen companies represent a mix of local, national, and international founders who were selected for their growth potential and commitment to building in Vermont.

Lyle Jepson, executive director of the Chamber & Economic Development of the Rutland Region (CEDRR), emphasized the program’s ripple effects: “These founders bring innovation, talent, and entrepreneurial energy that will ripple through our economy and community.”
The Fall 2025 gBETA cohort includes:
Spire — immersive software training for decision-building in high-stakes environments.
Tuktu — an AI-powered platform connecting families and seniors with trusted companions and assisters.
Aden Legal Education — adaptive, AI-supported curriculum tools for law schools.
Burlington Bio — food science innovation turning agricultural byproducts into healthy, clean-label ingredients.
TeleRay — a secure virtual care platform enabling advanced radiology sharing and consultation.
The program will culminate in a public pitch night on Tuesday, Oct. 28, from 5–7 p.m. at the Killington K1 Base Lodge, where the startups will displaycase their companies to investors, community members, and the public.
gBETA Rutland is created possible through a partnership with StartUp Rutland, an initiative of CEDRR, with support from gener8tor. Since its founding, gBETA has graduated more than 500 startups nationwide, assisting alumni raise nearly $1 billion in capital.
