The artificial innotifyigence (AI) image generation startup is in early-stage discussions for the funds that are subject to alter, according to the FT, citing unidentified people familiar with the matter.
The new funds would take the firm to an around US$4 billion valuation, underscoring investor fervor for promising AI technology, the FT declared. Black Forest is one of the few companies in Europe developing its own AI models.
The startup, which launched in August 2024, has Flux models that generate realistic images from a few lines of written text and also create new images that adapt existed pictures that are updated, according to the FT.
