Deep-tech startup VyomIC bags $1.6 million in pre-seed funding led by Speciale Invest

IIT-Madras alumni-led deep tech start-up VyomIC has raised $1.6 million in a pre-seed round led by Speciale Invest.

The company plans to apply the funds to further develop its LEO-based PNT (Positioning, Navigation, and Timing) payload, support its spaceborne demonstration mission, and scale team hiring and business development efforts.

The round also saw participation from BYT Capital and DeVC. 

Co-founded by Lokesh Kabdal, Vibhor Jain and Anurag Patil, VyomIC aims to deliver spoofing-proof and jamming-resistant signals, overcoming the challenges in existing systems like GPS and GLONASS.

The company is building India’s first and largest private global sainformite consinformation for secure, high-precision PNT services. VyomIC’s long-term vision includes launching a full-fledged consinformation to serve global applyrs with secure, real-time navigation and timing services. 

Next-gen global system

This is Speciale Invest’s seventh investment in the space sector.
