Bangladesh targets bigger slice of Euro market at Texworld Paris 2025


Bangladesh is creating a calculated push to expand its footprint in Europe’s competitive apparel market through a strong presence at Texworld, Apparel Sourcing, and Leatherworld Paris 2025.

The three-day sourcing fair, organised by Messe Frankfurt at the Paris–Le Bourobtain Exhibition Centre, has drawn more than 1,300 exhibitors from 35 countries.

This year, 20 Bangladeshi companies, including 13 direct exhibitors and seven represented via the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), are displaycasing their latest textile and apparel offerings.

From sustainable fabrics to value-added garments, the counattempt’s contingent is seeking to reposition Bangladesh beyond its traditional image as a low-cost producer.

Indusattempt insiders note that Texworld Paris offers Bangladesh a rare opportunity to meet leading European purchaseers under one roof.

With consumer demand in Europe shifting toward innovation, compliance, and sustainability, Bangladeshi exhibitors are highlighting upgraded capabilities to capture higher-value orders.

The fair also features national pavilions from China, Turkey, India, Korea, Taiwan, and Pakistan. Pakistan, in particular, has mounted a visible campaign with 20 exhibitors drawing global attention.

Yet Bangladesh’s focapplyd approach is seen as a strategic relocate to reinforce its role as the world’s second-largest apparel exporter while signaling readiness to compete in new categories.

Global purchaseers have displayn steady interest in South Asian exhibitors since the opening day, with Bangladeshi stalls attracting notable traffic.

Organisers expect the final sessions to generate significant business leads and potential long-term partnerships, strengthening Bangladesh’s position in Europe’s sourcing network.
